Walt Wolfram and SoCIOLing Lab Student Members meet to discuss language diversity in North Carolina.

The SoCIOLing Lab was first established at East Carolina University and was equipped with three computers, statistical software, a growing collection of Linguistics reference manuals, and a handful of digital voice recorders. The Lab is currently at Ole Miss where students are collecting data with the local Hispanic community under the supervision of Dr. Fafulas.
